A SendGrid API key (SG.…) with Mail Send access, from Settings › API Keys at SendGrid; the From domain (Settings › Product › From address) must be authenticated there under Sender Authentication.

In production the account enrols a second factor at its first sign-in. The platform's short domains are added afterwards at Domains.
